Sheela Krishnaswamy is a registered dietitian with over 35 years of professional experience in the clinical, corporate and communication spaces, pan India. She was trained in India and overseas. She worked as an associate of Dr. Hans Diehl, Director, Lifestyle Medicine Institute, Loma Linda, California, in his Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP) in the years 1989 and 1993. She was trained in Vancouver, Canada, to be a facilitator for CHIP. She is active in national and international dietetic associations. She has had a media presence for the last 22 years. Currently, she is an independent Diet, Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, based in Bengaluru. She is the National President of Indian Dietetic Association (Jan 2015 to Dec 2018) and is also on the Board of Directors of International Confederation of Dietetic Associations (ICDA) for the second time. She has been a successful nutrition entrepreneur, an editor, a public speaker, and a blogger.
