In this session, ACLM’s Director of Education, Paulina Shetty MS, RDN, LD, CPT, DipACLM, will describe how the American College of Lifestyle Medicine is collaboratively working with key partners to fill the gaping need of lifestyle medicine education in every stage of education from undergraduate programs, to medical schools, allied professional programs, internships, residencies, to providers and healthcare systems. We will discuss current lifestyle medicine education and certification offerings and discuss future education and certification opportunities in the field of lifestyle medicine.

Paulina Shetty serves as the Director of Education for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics from the University of Missouri, Master of Science in Nutrition and Physical Performance from Saint Louis University and recently became Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine. She has experience working as a registered dietitian and NASM certified personal trainer in the clinical, fitness and academic setting. She also serves as a Nutrition at Johnson County Community College in Kansas City, Kansas. She is passionate about sharing the hope of lifestyle medicine to treat and reverse disease as well as restore health for providers, professionals in training, the general public and to friends and family.
